          Walkathon &

          Family Fun Day

You can register for the walkathon and butterfly release by paying your registration fee online or by mail.  (Walk-up registration for the event will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. on the morning of the event but does not guarantee an event t-shirt or butterfly.) Before you register, please read the following Waiver and Release.

 

Waiver and Release:

By submitting this registration I agree to the terms of this waiver and release.  I am a voluntary participant in this event and I know that this event is a potentially hazardous activity and I hereby assume full and complete risk and responsibility for any injury, accident, property loss or damage, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat or humidity, and the conditions of the walk route, which may occur to me or any third party during my participation in this event or while on the premises of this event whether or not caused by act, omission, or negligence of  Spencer Crawford Children’s Foundation, Inc., its officers and directors, affiliates, sponsors, employees, volunteers, or by any other cause.  In consideration of my participation, I for myself, and my legal representatives and heirs, hereby waive, release, hold harmless and covenant not to file suit against and otherwise indemnify Spencer Crawford Children’s Foundation, Inc., its officers and directors, affiliates, sponsors, employees, volunteers, and all other persons or entities associated with this event (the “releasees”) from any loss, liability, damage or claims, costs and expenses I may have arising out of my participation in this event or while in the premises of this event.  Any action shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida with venue in Broward County. I give permission for Spencer Crawford Children’s Foundation, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors, to use any photographs, videos or other recordings made of me during the course of this event. I hereby grant the same waiver and release on behalf of all other event participants for whom I am the parent or legal guardian. Should I withdraw from this event or this event unfortunately be cancelled for legitimate cause, including but not limited to inclement weather, I agree that registration fees and monies collected prior to the scheduled event are non-refundable and shall remain the property of Spencer Crawford Children’s Foundation, Inc. and deemed a charitable donation tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
